I kept asking Catriona if she wanted to swing, afterall she does love it!... :)

....but she wanted to make her first snow angel instead! What a great job she did!

Merry Springs doggie park...

Yesterday we went to Merry Springs dog park in Camden, Maine... We love taking Findlay there about once a week... He really enjoys it too... He knows where we're going when I say "doggie park" lol, it's too funny! Also, once we turn down the gravel road he really starts going nuts! hehe

This is the path to the park...it's such a nice little walk...

Almost there, daddy practices some of Findlay's commands...knowing he'll listen at a moment like this is good, because we really need him to obey while we're here...otherwise...he'll be off! He's such a smart boy though...we're pretty lucky!

This is an apple tree on the path and I just thought it was so pretty with the bird berries all wrapped up and entwined with the apples... I think it makes for an interesting picture :)

My companions!

My, don't they look cozy! lol This is Mary on the left and Euan on the right... My cute and cuddly tabby cats :) Mary is very skittish, but loves to cuddle and nibble... Euan is a calm and cool garfield type, he's an outside cat and loves to hunt, he brings us presents that we really wish he'd keep for himself instead! :) I love my wee kitties and will definitely have more in the future!

This is my Findlay... He is a sable and white, rough collie, adopted from our local shelter when he was 11 months old. He is a hurricane Katrina survivor, shipped all the way to Maine from Louisiana! This poor little guy went through a lot before we got him... He was flea bitten and infested, undernourished, worms galore and untrained... Now, he is in perfect health eating an organic Wellness diet by Old Mother Hubbard brand http://www.oldmotherhubbard.com/ He has really become so much a part of our family... I wasn't sure I was ready for another dog at the time as 3 months earlier we put our beagle, Rory, to rest.
